Wubbels plans to use “a portion of the settlement to put toward a new initiative to help others pay for video clips from police body cameras.”2

After Detective Jeff Payne forcefully arrested Wubbels for following hospital policy(when she refused to allow him to draw blood from an unconscious patient) the police opened an internal investigation and Payne was fired from the department- a decision he is now challenging in court.3

The hospital in Salt Lake City has now barred law enforcement officials from directly interacting with the nursing staff. 4
