(Note from Erin: We are so sad to hear about this holistic doctor’s death. At this time authorities sate they do not  suspect foul play in the doctor’s death- like in our unintended series– and we cannot state either way at this time.

Yesterday, during Britain’s National Cycle To Work Day, the queen’s holistic physician Peter Fisher was hit by a truck and killed at about 9.30 am as he made his way to work at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine in Bloomsbury.

Yes, he was literally headed to work on his bicycle at the famous holistic hospital. He was known the world round.

“An expert in homeopathy and a member of the royal medical household, Dr. Fisher served as homeopathic physician to the Queen for more than  15 years.

Former colleague Sir Marcus Setchell, Her Majesty’s former surgeon-gynecologist, told the Evening Standard: ‘He was much respected as a good doctor who saw homeopathy as complementary to medical care. We are all shocked by his tragic loss.’”1

This year, eight cyclists have been killed on London’s roads. Dr. Fisher is the fifth to have died in a truck crash. Although emergency services raced to the scene, Dr. Fisher was pronounced dead a short time later.

Angie Bozianu, a witness who works nearby recalled the horrific scene, “I heard a woman screaming and I looked out of the window and he was under the wheel.”2

Our hearts go out to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

We will update you with more information as it becomes available.
