Taylor Swift surprised Delaney today at her home!
As you might recall, less than two weeks ago I wrote an article asking you to help make Delaney’s dream come true. All she wanted was to meet her hero; Taylor Swift.
I talked with Delaney’s wonderful aunt back and forth on Facebook and did an article doing what I could to help spread the word to share the hashtag #DelaneyMeetTaylor which I posted it on my professional page, my personal page, FB, Twitter, my site, and did whatever I could and asked others to share. I was thrilled to see so many health nuts did, as well as thousands of others across the web.
The great news is today I got a note from a family friend that it happened. Now it’s hitting the news far and wide. Delaney’s dream became a reality.
While traveling home for the holidays, Swift made it a priority to surprise Delaney Clements with little to no warning.
“Literally speechless right now!!!!! My new best friend (as I call her now ) made a special stop from going home to Tennessee and surprised me and gave me the best present/ hugg ever!!” Delaney wrote on Instagram Saturday afternoon while posing for a picture. “Thank you !! I love you!! Happy holidays!!”
Swift added, “Merry Christmas Baby @delaneyy.bugg.”

Ever since Delaney was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2010, she has developed quite the following on social media.
Sadly, Delaney’s mom Wendy Campbell delivered a very somber update earlier this month where she told followers that hospice care was imminent.
“So happy for my baby girl,” Wendy wrote on Facebook after the encounter. “Thank you Taylor Swift for the best Christmas present ever.”

Delaney is in Colorado and we are TRULY hoping for a Christmas miracle that she’ll recover.
