(Note from Erin: If you’ve never heard of tapping you aren’t alone. But that’s one of the things I LOVE to do here at HNN- give you information about all your health options. Read on!)

If you’ve spent any time here at HNN you’ve likely heard us reference EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique a time or two. Well, tapping, a combination of acupressure and psychology, is a part of EFT.

Express gratitude

When you practice tapping you use your fingertips on “specific meridian points while talking through traumatic memories and a wide range of emotions.” It might sound a little odd but it’s helped countless people with physical and emotional pain lead healthier lives.

According to The Tapping Solution,

“The basic technique requires you to focus on the negative emotion at hand: a fear or anxiety, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that’s bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times each on 12 of the body’s meridian points (see the video below).

Tapping on these meridian points – while concentrating on accepting and resolving the negative emotion – will access your body’s energy, restoring it to a balanced state.”1

So, if you are intrigued or ready to start learning all you can, I’m happy to announce the 10th Annual Tapping World Summit.
