On Wednesday, Sanofi- a Big Pharma darling- announced that the FDA had approved their new 6 in 1 pediatric vaccine.

The vaccine was developed in partnership with Merck and has been referred to as Vaxelis.

Designed for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years old, the vaccine is designed to prevent the contraction of diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, hepatitis B, and influenza B.
