Hi, guys. I’m currently in Dallas visiting a holistic doctor (who had a stroke while working on me and ended up in the hospital over a week!) and still haven’t been able to get home to the East Coast of Florida since speaking at David Wolfe’s event in California. (But I’m also here to speak at the sold out Truth About Cancer event, which is being live-streamed for free, with 40+ holistic doctors and thousands in attendance. I hope you’ll all tune in and watch!)

I wanted to show you a few photos from the 2 houses in Florida, one we were about to sell, and the other – a fixer upper- had finally been completed after 6 months of hard work, but will need a lot more fixing up now.

Really, these are just first world problems, I know. But after having already lost a house to a tornado that took my cat, dog, and neighbor, plus having a tree fall on 2 of my homes in the many storms I’ve survived…I hate storms. I feel so badly for those in the US and Haiti who have had total losses in this storm.

This was the house we lost 25 years ago last month. It is miraculous that we survived.

Our house after an F4 hit in 1991, 25 years ago next month the day after Thanksgiving. We lost our kitty, dog and neighbor, but are lucky to be alive today.

And here’s the old house I was just about to sell (first house I ever bought); I’ve only owned 2 houses in my life which include the new one we planned to move into this week.

She’s an old house, and thankfully the 100-year-old trees all missed her (which is good, as I had a tree fall and smash this house and my Prius back in 2008- same time of year). Now comes with a broom stuck in the fence. Not ours. (Maybe a witch lost it on her way out of town?) She’s 61 and a half years old and survived- made entirely of WOOD!

hurricane-7And my little purple power tower. She sits just 3 stories high but they couldn’t get her boarded up before Matthew. Now she’s just sitting there, staring out at the ocean, waiting for us to fix her up again…

hurricane-6Fun when a piece of your house ends up in a Palm tree.

More old house pics- this fence was huge (see the shrubs) and now 137 feet will need to be replaced or put up again.
hurricane-4I was finally going to have a pool, but alas, it got damaged. Thankfully, we will get it fixed; it’s shaped like the top of a guitar (you guys know how much I love music).
One of the windows in my purple power tower…

hur2Small bathroom. Uh oh!

hur3Thankfully it’s all just stuff and stuff can be fixed.

hur1We are attempting to dry out everything that’s inside. See that table? It’s made out of a bowling alley lane!

hurricane-8Just painted this ceiling,  will have to redo it AND the roof again!

hurricane-12More ceiling and roof trouble, but our main concern is with mold.hurricane-11Some of the BRANCHES from my 100-year-old trees at the old house.

hurricane-10Thought you might find it interesting. Again, it’s nothing compared to what some people have been through and I feel so badly for those who have had total losses with Matthew or worse, those who lost loved ones or pets.

Our hearts go out to those with losses in the US and Haiti- we are hoping for healing and safer homes for everyone.
