On Sunday evening during a music festival in Las Vegas, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Tragically, he killed 50 people and injured more than 200 before police were able to stop him (he was killed in the confrontation with police). They are now looking for his companion, Marilou Danley.
This morning, at a little before 2 a.m. Vegas time, Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo informed reporters that Danley had been traveling with the suspect and described her as an Asian woman, 4 ft 11 inches tall and 111 pounds. Police are very interested in speaking to her.1

According to news reports, the shooter was in an elevated position, giving him an advantage. James Gagliano, a retired FBI supervisory special agent, told CNN that after watching footage of the shooting, it’s likely Paddock was using a military belt-fed weapon.

This is still an active investigation. We will update you as we have more information.
