A big THANK YOU, once again, to actor-activist Mark Ruffalo for using his celebrity to draw attention to the travesty that is the North Dakota Access Pipeline. He has traveled to North Dakota and is standing with the Standing Rock Sioux tribe to oppose the four-state pipeline.

From the article:Ruffalo is

“Ruffalo is co-founder of The Solutions Project, which promotes clean and renewable energy. He says he plans to deliver a pair of Navajo-made solar trailers on Wednesday to help power the encampments established to protest the pipeline.”

It’s not JUST that the pipeline will harm sacred sites and artifacts but it will also cross the Missouri River and therefore threaten water supplies for millions. The Standing Rock Sioux tribe, as well as many other tribes AND environmental groups, are justifiable concerned. The fight continues.

Those of us who love the earth and our environment are lucky to have Ruffalo on our side; he is one of the movie industry’s most outspoken advocates for environmental causes. As he says “water is life.”

We couldn’t agree more!
