That’s it, it’s so simple! Let me know if you make it and how it turns out.

Lavender is one of the gentlest, most versatile, and powerful essential oils. In fact, it should be stocked in every household because of its many uses, including healing properties. “Lavender has a chemically complex structure with over 150 active constituents, which explains its effectiveness at helping with a lot of health ailments. Lavender oil possesses amazing anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antidepressant, antiseptic, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antispasmodic, analgesic, detoxifier, hypotensive, and sedative properties,” reports Healthy Holistic Living.

So, while you can use it in your lemonade, there are more ways to capitalize on its effects: add a couple drops of the essential oil to your bath water, diffuse 5-10 drops (depending on how aromatic you want the smell) in your diffuser, rub it on your temples before bed or during a headache, use it to soothe stressed and overworked muscles, or just add it to a good, unrefined, and organic oil- like coconut or almond- and use as a body oil. Your skin, senses, and limbic system will thank you! Trust me.

I love lavender and it’s been used for more than 2,500 years…maybe it’s time for you to try it too!!
