Blue Bell still finding Listeria in their factories

Erin Elizabeth, Founder, Health Nut News,

Blue Bell calls their ice cream “homemade” and even trademarked the name despite the fact it’s not. Their products contain aspartame along with many scary ingredients.  3 people were killed by eating Blue Bell

Texas-based Blue Bell Cream Creameries had to admit  Thursday that it found signs of Listeria “at one of its “production facilities. The company refused to name which of their locations has the deadly Listeria.

It said it is working to rid the facility of the contamination.

Blue Bell shut down all three production facilities in Texas, Alabama and Oklahoma in April and all ice cream was recalled after its treats were linked to 10 listeria cases, including three deaths in Kansas. Listeria bacteria can cause serious illness, especially in older adults, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.

The company upgraded its facilities, and retrained their employees.

Still, the Department of Justice is finally doing a criminal investigating the outbreak, saying Blue Bell  knew as early as 2013 that at least one plant was contaminated
