Tricia McCauley, 46, a Washington, D.C., yoga instructor, certified nutritionist, and health coach with a Master’s degree in Herbalism, who disappeared on Christmas afternoon on her way to a holiday dinner with friends, was found dead in her car on Tuesday.
Late Monday night, police found surveillance video of a man driving around in her car and later found the car on 22nd and M Street, in D. C. They now have a suspect in custody.
Police do not think McCauley and the suspect knew each other.

Our hearts go out to her family and friends who are missing her terribly right now. Tricia’s brother wrote in a Facebook post:
“Tricia is gone, they have found her body,” Brian McCauley, Tricia’s brother, wrote. “Thank you all for your work, support and love. To all of her D.C. family, I know she truly thought of you that way, thank you for being there for her all these years. Hang on to each other.”
