You know me, I’m a sucker for these sweet stories!

While most people hate crows, one little girl in Seattle actually feeds the crows in her garden and they love her so much, they bring her gifts in return. John Marzluff, professor of wildlife science at the University of Washington- who specializes in birds, particularly crows and ravens- says that you can form bonds with them by being consistent in rewarding them. Something sweet Gabi has apparently done!

Gabi found her presents after leaving out a feeder of peanuts. Once they had cleared it of peanuts, the shiny trinkets were left on the empty tray, anything tiny enough to fit in their mouths.

Each present she gets she carefully wraps up and saves. She’s got a miniature silver ball, a black button, a blue paper clip, a yellow bead, a faded black piece of foam, a blue Lego piece, and so much more. While many of the presents are a bit dirty, she treasures them and holds them as highly valuable.

Look at some of the gifts she’s been given!
Well done Gabi, thank you for treating God’s creation so kindly!
