Lisa Lynn Masters was found dead in her hotel room at the Nuevo Mundo Hotel in Lima, Peru by staff at around 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15th. She was 52.
Officials confirmed that Masters hanged herself with her skirt in the hotel room’s closet.
Masters had been in Peru on a modelling assignment.
An actress and model, Masters had many appearances to her credit: Gossip Girl, Ugly Betty, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Royal Pains.
Masters’ friends have set up a GoFundMe page to raise money to both bring her body back to the US and help her husband with funeral expenses.
