David Letterman Returning to TV

David Letterman is making his way back to the small screen, all in the name of the environment. The former host of the “Late Show” will be a correspondent for an episode of the National Geographic Channel’s docu-series, “Years of Living Dangerously”.

Docuseries on Climate Change

The Emmy Award-winning series shows Hollywood celebrities investigating various climate change issues and discovering new ways to reduce it. The producers of the show wanted Letterman because they saw his enthusiasm for clean energy and felt he was “invested in the issue.” So, the 69-year-old comedian went to India and spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to find out how one of the world’s largest populations is moving from non-renewable energy to solar power.

Letterman, who has a beard (he was sick and tired of always having to shave) has stayed away from television since he retired in May of 2015.
