What amazing and wonderful news!

Robert Kluttz, Chick-Fil-A franchise owner, was a lifelong addict to chicken and soda. However, when he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes he gave it all up in order to treat his diabetes with a plant-based diet. And he was successful!

Before he adopted the plant-based diet in 2013, Kluttz regularly ate a chicken biscuit for breakfast, fried chicken for lunch, and drank 15 sodas per day. Can you imagine?

However, after a stroke, brought on by fat blockage (no kidding) in one of his arteries sent him to the hospital, he knew he had to change his life. Because his blood sugar was three times above average he was taking eight different medications as well as four insulin shots daily. Initially, he decided to follow the Diabetes Diet (which includes animal products) but saw no improvement in his health.

While searching for an alternative, Kluttz met Sven Jonsson, MD, who suggested that he switch to an oil-free, vegan diet. After only nine months, Kluttz was able to lower his weight, cholesterol levels, and stabilize his blood sugar. He said, “I am 61, but I feel like I am 30. When I accepted the new way of eating, I got my strength back. I am getting a second chance in life.”

Well done sir, well done.

I also changed my diet and life, click here to see how!
